Family caregivers often find themselves in a role they did not ask for and are unprepared for. We're here to help.
Our MISSION
The Caregiver Superhero Society's mission is to educate and support family and friends caring for loved ones with various types of dementia. We do this by providing educational workshops and hosting Caregiver Cafes where caregivers can come together to encourage and be encouraged.
Why it's important
Caregiving has all the features of a chronic stress experience. It creates physical and psychological strain over extended periods of time. A large percentage of caregivers will develop health issues of their own before the person they care for has passed. It is important for caregivers to have knowledge and support throughout their journey.
