Caregiver Consultations
Sometimes caregivers simply need someone knowledgeable to talk with. Caregiver Consultations offer caregivers an opportunity for a one-on-one conversation with an experienced RN or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who understands both the science of dementia and the practical realities of caring for someone living with it.
These conversations can help caregivers talk through concerns, better understand common dementia-related challenges, explore caregiving approaches, identify helpful resources, and think about possible next steps.
There is no fee for a Caregiver Consultation. A suggested donation of $50 helps support Caregiver Café and allows us to continue offering education and support to caregivers in our community. Donations are completely voluntary and are not required to receive a consultation.

Important Information
Caregiver Consultations are intended for general education, caregiver support, and resource guidance. They are informal conversations and do not establish a nurse-patient, therapist-client, or other professional relationship.
Information shared during a consultation is not intended to constitute medical, nursing, mental health, legal, or other professional advice. Our consultants do not diagnose medical or mental health conditions, prescribe or recommend specific medical treatment, provide psychotherapy, or replace the advice or care of a person's own healthcare professionals.
Caregivers should consult the appropriate healthcare or other licensed professional regarding decisions specific to their loved one's care. Caregiver Consultations are not an emergency or crisis service.
